Hi there. I help organize an electronic music radio show called The Cut that airs on WPVM 103.5 FM in Asheville, NC USA also streamed live on the web at wpvm.org and archived on the same site. The show is hosted on a rotation basis from multiple hosts around the globe (maybe you've heard it!) each week, a host prepares a 2 hour pre-recorded program, based on a guide. the show is typically themed in some way, but not always. The queue of hosts had dwindled lately and I am looking for some new hosts to add to the rotation. Do you meet these criteria? - Excellent collection of electronic music (beyond aphex, boc, ae..) - Responsible - Skilled in audio editing - high speed internet connection - can speak english - probably some other things If you are interested please let me know. We'd like a short demo (15min) with a spoken intro/set of music/track id-outro you can post it here or email me a link. |

hmm.. if you could make it work with a single show's theme then sure. it is an electronica show though. there are plenty of other genre specific shows on the station so i would want to keep this show unique in that respect. but at the same time, it's good to go beyond the typical idm stars and maybe do some underrepresented stuff.. weblabels.. you know.. |
