BoC - Do you reckon their next release will be any good?

As per title, do you reckon BoC's next release will be any
good? Although they've grown on me since the first
(extremely disappointing) time I heard them, both The
Campfire Headphase and Transcanada Highway have failed to be
as good as their earlier work IMO. There are a couple of
good tracks on there, but invariably, these are nearest to
the older style BoC.

I know they are entitled to make whatever music they like
and that I'm sure there are some people (a minority though,
surely) who prefer the new stuff to the old, but I don't
really feel myself looking forwards to their new material
half as much as I used to. :(

I think so, yes, but then I don't really think about it too
much. Trans Canada Highway has a different, more dense
flavor than Headphase, I think. Like neo-MHTRTC or
something. I like both a lot, although I find myself
returning the most to Geogaddi which was the first Boards
album I really got into. Masterpiece.

I'm sure it'll be very fucking good, just like everything
they've done.

I think it'll good. It'd be better if it was released only
on cassette and consisted of 30 odd atmospheric tracks. I am
pretty sure they won't do TCH II, how I know this I don't
know, though. Ho.

BOC's latest cd and ep are very good, they are perfect for
certain moods, where as i can listen to MHTRTH or Geogadi
everyday. Yes, Im looking forward to BOC's new stuff, they
are not going to repeat anything they have ever done, they
dont regurtitate the same old same old, they are very
creative artists and I appreciate that.

i dont listen to TCH nearly as much as geo, or
anything before it (besides mer ridge and daycowboy)..

the rest is good, i guess? but i dont find myself looping it
like i did and still do, the older stuff.

times-r-a-changin, my friends.
it will never be the same

I like campfire headphase a lot, so im more than happy with
how they are doing, no matter how it compares to older
releases. But I havent got round to trans canada yet

If your really happy with Campfire Headphase, then you
should def. get Trans Canada Highway, its a good little ep,
but dayvan cowboy (odd nosdam remix) is a little weak, i
wanted them to do something totaly different, but anyways is
a good little ep

"FUCK THE HATORZ"

within' the past few years, there have been a lot of:
"if it sounds different from anything (any artist) did in
the mid 90's, then I dont like it" attitudes around here
recenly, whatever, if you like the music you do, if you dont
you dont.

im not a huge fan of the new sqr
the latest boc is good
the new clark is amazing

opinions are like assholes, everybody has one

i like boc, enjoy all there music though some of it more
than others. still haven't listened to TCH yet tho, but i
the trans canada ep was good. thing is, boc created such a
unique sound for themselves, and this has proved to be their
strength, yet in some respects some might say a limiting
weakness.. DUNNO

i know exactly what you mean, and it's horrible when it
concerns a 'band' as good as BoC :(

I hear BoC are going country on thier next release, then
after that they are doing a nu-metal release.

i think i will be expecting the new album even more than
before TCH, cause now i know they can do amazing music
beyond the typical boc style...
in fact, for me, the disappointing album was geoggadi and
TCH was a nice surprise after not having too much
expectations.stoptalkin

I hope they don't keep on down the campfire road.. I'm kind
of hoping for something new-but-still-boc or something...

Somehow I think it'll be something with lyrics. If the next
releases will be good? sure.. it's BoC.

I like to believe it will be as good as almost all thier
releases. Personally I find BoC's music pretty awesome and I
also love to mix their tracks with other artists stuff.
