what a cool little kid. still watching the video. it's not "some separatist group", it's the zapatistas, and they kick ass. they're an armed non-violent group campaigning for equality and rights for mexican peasants. their leader, subcomandante marcos, is [most probably] an academic whose speeches hinge on allegory and literary allusion. they're really great, and well worth reading up on. RATM are big fans. :) |

I figured he was, given the name "subcomandante".. but he seems to be the foremost spokesperson, speech-giver and figure for the organisation. they're cool guys. i had as my wallpaper on the computer in work. it disturbed a few people :/ |
