oh yes, i really like his works... beautiful : )
(i know of another artist called Nils-Udo, who also makes ephemeral art out of natural materials in natural settings; i might prefer Andy Goldsworthy's works now, but you may want to check out Nils-Udo's ones as well.)

I love his art and the movie was beautiful.
I saw some similar "land art" out in the Eastern Townships near Montreal last year and while it was interesting seeing that stuff in person it didn't come close to the cleverness and delicacy of Andy's work. Then again Andy's stuff is so ephemeral and the stuff I saw was meant to last for days/weeks.

See, that's why schools should only teach things that people will hate anyways, like farty old Victorian literature and matrix algebra.

I really liked his work before I met him, some of his stuff was really quite clever. He claimed to be able to live off the land eating rabbits and stuff, but he was always first in line for lunch orders who he always made one of the students get (usually me because I had a car) and would never give you enough money. One time I didn't give him his change and he went mental so I asked him if in his world petrol was free.
At his private view of his show, we raced to see how much red wine we could drink, knowing that he had it on a 'sale or return' thing.
He's a knob

Going back to all that boring, pompous 80s land art shit which was even worse than the hyped up, coked out 90s YBA shit that replaced it.

You know that "student" drinking game from the "90s" that was based on "80s" film "Withnail & I" that was only discovered by the masses in the "90s", where you'd have a drink everytime someone in the film had a drink (a variation was you'd drink what it was they were drinking, not including the lighter fluid).
I've based one on Swears' posts, where I have a beer for every mention of "80s" and a spirit for every "90s". A post with both "80s" and "90s" warrants a Pina Colada or a Bucks Fizz.

I don't think the lessons from the 80s were properly learnt. The 90s were one route, fair enough, but the 80s forged a very rich seam with limitless possibility, but we just follow on in a linear fashion from the 90s. I think pop culture now is at a dead end and music should stop. I think all music created in the 90s should be destroyed and we start again at 1978 and release in order all the records from that date onwards, in real time.

That fella just seems like some heavily depressed mental patient let out for the day to do some "art therapy" with a bunch of twigs tied together. I don't care if it makes him feel better, I want to see a giant chia pet or a neon sign that says "FUCK OFF", or somwbody destroying everything they own in industrial crushing machines, you know, a bit of flair.
