Muse played CTD before they came on at the Leeds Festival.

So they really aren't as shite as I thought after listening
to their new album.

I quite like the new album, kinda reminds me of Queen in
places.

You've just found out that they sound a bit like Queen...
with their fourth album? Haven't they all sounded... a bit
like Queen?

The track just seems to be a parody of manson/nin. The rest
of the album is untouchably fantastic. Aphex is
eerily ahead of everybody else in music creating
skill (until recent releases). Aphex = apex. Even after
playing these tracks at 1/2 speed many times, any method of
constructing something that aurally good remains a mystery
to me. It's also unique that it appeals to human brains (not
strictly cold algorithms) like aural candy (I think mozart
had candy named after him or something). If aphex wanted to
make some serious money, he could sell very detailed
written/etc. descriptions of his methods/techniques/insights
on this album. Almost all his fans probably make music
themselves. I'd pay 500$ for a video or something thoroughly
describing all equipment/software used/techniques etc.. very
detailed with all his tricks/secrets revealed used in all
the come to daddy tracks, minus the first- and I bet many
others would too.

2 things...come to daddy is not an album it's 4 trk 12"
also there was a 12" remix ep

later these were cobbled together and pumped out on 1 cd for
americans

also the title track is a clear piss take of
"firestarter"/"breathe" (ugh)
and a shameless ploy to milk some cash from the lucrative
NIN / MTV american market.

I bought the ordinary version in here Sweden (it's got an X
on the end of the cat # I think) and it was an 8 track
single/mini-album... (among this 8 track CD in the record
store was the imported UK-version with 4 tracks for the sime
price as the 8 track! :D )
