I hate myspace, but I am on facebook because at my college,
its like a requirement for any social interaction.

sounds like the place is filled with people you'd not really
want to interact socially with, then.

I never got into the whole myspace/facebook craze.. just not
really my idea of exciting. I do think facebook is a nice
way to keep in touch with old friends from school, if you
have some aversion to just picking up the phone and calling
them.

oh, and I appreciate myspace when used like purevolume. It's
another place for bands/musical groups to post their music
online, I suppose.

i wish facebook was as big here as it is in america..

instead, everybody just uses bebo, which is an awful site
with an interface that breaks..

facebook is kinda like a really sterile version of myspace.

if myspace was for people in college.

i dunno i didn't hate everyone i ever went to any school
with like most of you so it makes me happy to see people
from highschool and even kindergarden on the site.

yeah, but you also depend more on the kindness of strangers
for your electrical goods, so it'd be a good idea to keep in
touch with a few "friends" too.

Is there anyway to create an account and still remain
anonymous, or as soon as you create the account people from
your institution can tell you registered?
