i never bought the special editions because i had an inkling that lucas would bring the originals out afterwards and lo an behold he did. money grabbing git. fair play to him though he made some ok films. lots of toy cash oh yeh! |

Some of the changes really are quite pathetic. Some of them annoy me. I think they went OTT on the prison cell perspective shots. Two shots would've put the message home. I also thought it looked better in the original film. |

haha i remember those. i only got my original vhs trilogy thing last year.. early thing year? saw it for 18 bucks and despite the fact i already had the box set in dvd and vhs, i pretty much NEEDED those videos. i think all this explains my star wars bed covers and perhaps my pixelated landspeeder. |
