I've been packing my cd's away to go into storage and so
I've been finding old cd's that i haven't listened to since
my teenage years. Stuff like my old get up kid's cd's and
The Ataris and what now.

Post what you listened to back in the hay days of teenage
life! (longer ago for some than others)

Just think the typical 90s kid.

I am way more diverse now

I used to listen to shitty commercial music. I spent lots of
my time on MTV seeing which were the best tunes and
the best CDS to purchase. Well, Avril Lavigne, Eamon, Linkin
Park, Snoop Dogg, Alanis Morrisette, Blak Eyed Peace,
Beastie Boys ecc ecc.

Now, I totally listen to different music. Thank god
Phobiazero who invented this place.

lots of alternative rock. pretty much a continuation from
the stuff i listened to when i started buying music at the
age of 12. branching out more. by this time i had discovered
air (i remember moon safari - blew me away)...discovered
aphex twin around this time too, opening the doors for
excellent electronic music. i also remember raping an ill
communication tape at the age of 16.

it (Sleeper and Pulp in particular).

still appreciate their superiority.

they teamed up with ross robinson on their latest effort,
right? yeah, i didn't go near that either. in fact, i have
yet to hear anything they did in the 90's, aside from
'bloodflowers', which is okay.

Sorry, crossing those things out doesn't represent any
negative feelings towards those acts / radio shows / genres,
it's just I didn't listen to them an awful lot.

That said, I never liked The Cure. I liked "gothic" bands
like Sisters of Mercy or Fields of the Nephilim, Bauhaus...
but The Cure, with his whiny voice and his stupid hair and
... I had a friend who was mad about them and it just wound
me up. The Cure got, and continue to get, on my tits,
regardless of any musical merits, and I'm sorry if that
upsets anyone.

Oh I like A Forest. In a forest? Lost in a forest?... The
Forest? Well, that song.
