HI all. I'm going to be travelling to London next week
from the USA and was wondering if anyone could suggest any
good places to visit, i.e. clubs, shows, etc. Thanks!

Go to Tower Bridge it is good when it opens and there are a
lot of nice bars near by so you can wait while drinking.

Fabric is my favorite club.

will be tight.

KNOW the consequences and I CARE now...lol know what I

It is fun though man...If anything, just get your self a
nice longboard and just ride it to the store or record shop
once in awhile....
Just cruise it....

=)

Lol Yeah, I just turned 24 too and it does make me a little
nervy about things like skating.

I tried a bit when I was younger and finally brought my old
board to where I live now, so maybe I will give it a shot.

Don't go to Sheffield it is horable. The media festival is
not that good and the town is ugly. Go to the Tate modern
and have a look at some of Nam Jun Paiks stuff instead.

Go and see the Tate Modern, built in the shell of an old
power station, on the banks of the River Thames, the inside
of the building is breathtaking huge as you walk in.
Two floors of free galleries, modern stuff (1920s onward),
plua the Warhol exhibition is on till 1st April, great
place.

Good record shops: Berwick street has loads of different
ones. Don't bother with Virgin /HMV, waste of time.

Camden Market is great also, records, clothes, wierd stuff.

But it depends what your interests are i guess.

That's for the record shop suggestions, Sgt. . I was in
England about a year ago and tried to find some bootleg
radiohead in Oxford, but to no avail. I guess just shops
that have a good electronic selection and stuff. The place
I live has almost nothing.

Berwick street is in SOHO and has a laods of record shops on
it. Try sister ray if you are looking for techno/afx and
a bit of indy. Other wise try camden's exchange for old AFX.
They will almost certainly have some. They are a second hand
dealer so stock is constantly changing. Try your luck. I
have come up trumps every time I go.
Let me know how you get on

Cockney Rhyming Slang:
Apples and Pears = Stairs
Scooby (Doo) = Poo (shit)

As in "I am going up the Apples and Pears to have a Scooby"

I was in Starbucks yesterday. The guy burned my panini bread
sandwich to a crisp, it was completely black on one side. He
brought it over and said "If this one's too burnt for you i
suppose i could do you another..." (!)

I guess a parrot sixed panini is likely to burn in a thrice.
Can you blame the underpaid gircher?
