Squarepusher on Neighbours

Mr Jenkinson made an appearance on quality Australian soap
opera Neighbours today. No, not him personally, but "Tad"
(up and coming DJ) was looking through a pile of CDs he was
buying off teen-rebel Ellie, and second from top was the
unmistakeable CD case of "Go Plastic".

But, as if that small glimpse wasn't enough, minutes later
he went round to Ellie's house wanting his money back
because "the Squarepusher CD is covered in scratches".

No music played, but a namecheck nonetheless. Next, I
predict, Venetian Snares played in the background in the
Queen Vic in Eastenders.

I seem to remember an episode with Lou and Harold chilling
out in Lou's garage smoking blunts and listening to "Fuck
tha Police". It was a good 'un.

You would have thought Neighbours had standards. They are
letting it slip these days.

Nah it was Cop Killer if I remember correctly. And Dr
Kennedy came round to score some speed. I think that was
when he started pimping out Mrs Kennedy to pay for his speed
habit

Bouncer used to have the Aphex "A" shaved into his side.
Loe's pub had it's own ambient Jukebox. The Erinsbough times
voted "Ventolin" #1 single of all time.

God I miss it, you don't get it here and people look at me
strangley when I say I have loved Kylie since she was
Charline the greasy mecanic girl.

I remember that, it was a very exciting episode for me. I
wonder if old Jenkers aquired some dollar for that mention.

I remember Goldie on Eastenders too, I believe he was a thug
who introduced new negro character Paul Trueman by throwing
him from a moving van.
