Isn't this on the Renaissance EP? It sounds a lot like Aphex
homage, but the last 20 seconds or so are dead good. It is a
good track, but, oh who cares what I think, but I think it's
"a bit shameless".

"thats the clark i like, phat beats...
not really amazed by the tune,

and your second sentence confused me.

confirms that I don't like chris clark. I find the track
dull. the first section is (boringly) repetitive and sounds
like i heard this from him already. the second section
sounds like it goes somewhere but it doesn't

basically the song is a 5 second melody line that loops and
goes through several effects. then some pointless
jazzy-beats at the end and that's all.

mantains his aestethic of overproduced megaman soundtrack
(wich I don't like BTW).

I don't understand what is this music about I don't
understand. ME NOT LIKE.

imo..

loops and goes through several effects. then some pointless

jazzy-beats at the end and that's all"

umm point any track and the chance that it's not gonna be a
"5 second melody line" repeated over and over and over is
very high. do I really need to give examples.. ok lets see..
random song from my files:

Aphex twin - mt saint michel + st michaels mount. It does
have a repetitive melody (bassline) line at the beggining
but there's major variations in the structure beneath the
bassline.. and adterwards there's so much more movement.. am
i actually comparing it to this track? ok another random...

soundmurderer and sk-1. bad sound.. no comment, it's
definately not a 5 second melody over and over.

amen andrews vs apc gands luke. junglism... another one.

ok too much breakbeat let me choose more melodic music now.

Astrobotnia anything.
global goon anything.

so i think i answered your question... now listen at clark's
track. do hear what i'm saying... even the beats are kindof
the same trough the whole track... not that this necesarily
means that a piece of music is bad.. i just don't see what's
special.

i can admit that the 5 second melody line is ok.

this is just my point of view, first, if I don't enjoy a
track I try to see if there's anything interesting about the
music. clark failed both times with me. but hey! if you can
enjoy it lots that's cool and I envy you.

Dam! OK: Thats actually a very good respond, im impressed.

I agree you cant really compare Aphex twins - mt saint
michel + st michaels mount with Ted ;) those tracks are not
in the same leauge :P Aphex twin - mt saint michel + st
michaels mount is out of this world and Ted..uhm :P

I get your point tho, but yeah I love Clarkes Ted and I
think its a really beautiful track...I think you was way too
harsh on the track tho give it some time :) its a beauty ;)
but yeah its no mt saint michel + st michaels mount but
bloody hell..how many tracks out there is? :P

I compare Ted to all the other idm presets.
