Scratched cornea and inflamed eye / in my son's bedroom last
week / a carelessly tossed Condorito comic book

This is the second time in 6 months, though the
circumstances of getting pegged in the other eye were
slightly different, the perpetrator was the same. I've got
quite a cool photo of me with "David Bowie" eyes after one
retina went spastic. I say "cool photo" I mean, a photo.

i'd like to see that photo

i don't have any current injuries. my knee's always a bit
wonky after some old ones, however. a few very painful
injuries which rendered me semi-invalid for a few weeks.

it's not that bad....... if you're lead climbing, and
placing your own protection (called "trad"), then it can be
a bit dangerous, but i'll be taking it easy on the weekend
and just top-roping a few easier things...........

I have all the gear and stuff, cost me a bomb over the
years, and we always try to be as safe as possible......

A huge bruise on my left thigh that was so black the first
day I was convinced it was a tumor.. also because I can't
remember for the life of me how I got it. The other day I
was taking a pee and the bathroom light was off and when I
saw it out of the corner of my eye I thought it was a
cockroach crawling on me and I flipped out.. convulsing and
going into spasms. When I realized what it was I felt very,
very dumb.

4th grade, compound fracture of my leg tibia/fibula after a
van ran a red light. It was probably the sickest thing I've
ever seen, it looked like my leg exploded, just a mush of
meat and bone. Recovered 100% though, and my mom bought me a
ton of SNES games I wouldn't have gotten otherwise, and I
have a sick scar, so it was well worth it.
