Yeah but they wouldn't because they don't tend to think at such a base level. Besides men don't suffer the sexual intimidation that women do. We don't get wolf-whistled in the street, leered at, sexually harassed, raped, assaulted by the opposite sex. Such threads contribute to a climate where this kind of thing is accepted. If a man wants to assault a woman, and degrade her, he feels less social dissapproval if women are talked about as sex objects. |

No, oppression sucks. When did I say we SHOULD take advantage of a sex that is physically weaker? But this IS a very unfair advantage. If women were in our position, men would be oppressed. Can this oppression be fought and beaten, I don't know... I hope. But it isn't happening anytime soon. Too bad we're so manly and buff, poor girls. Sad fact of life, unfair advantage for us. A very uphill batle for them, and it's improved... I don't think we'll EVER be equal, personally. Men will always have that advantage. Unfortunately. :-( |
