Hehe, i said my new job, and i said screenshots, i meant
'screenshots of my actual work process'

Sorry if you're disapointed, i could always bring my tiny
digicam with me tommrow if you'd like.

But yeah, i do 3d cad... I've only started on monday and it
appears im learning really fast.

Im going to go to university for a parttime course on it,
and the uni is further above southhampton, im on the IOW so
it's a bit of a travel.

Yeah, Autocad is a quite interesting program. I used it at
school. Nacmat does use it to work as well I believe.

yeah.

The pay is like, 9.5k a year, so.. this week, i'll get paid
£200 roughly, which is pretty good for sitting on my ass,
and going on autocad doing work.

It is pretty tedius sometimes, and I'm not doing any proper
job-assignment yet.. I've got a lot to learn, but learning
is so quick when very knowledged people are there always to
help.

If only IDM was like this, i reckon there should be more
group meetings... like, living in a big flat or something,
just to share knowledge..

9k isn't good money, either before or after tax

it's better than doing nothing.. i get really depressed when
im home alone.

the people are all really cool, and as i say, i'm not
working properly, i'm just training..

they are paying for the traveling + course for the training
on university, and there's bonuses every year, coupleled
with standard inflation.. and people who have been working
there for quite some time are on 40k

I get paid more than that for doing CAD. No way I'd do it
for that amount of money. Hell, I'm not getting enough now.

for any less than you're worth. unless you're desperate. i
work for peanuts because i'm a waster.

Hey everyone has to start somewhere. Dont let the pay get
you down. As long as you get good experience so you can move
somewhere else later on
