Im writing a film quiz and the theme is Paul Verhoeven films. the last question will be 'what is the link between these questions?' and the answer is Paul Verhoeven. I need 9 questions, but I've done 7 and used up all the films that are well known:
--- In the 1990 film Total Recall, Arnold Schwartzenegger’s character goes by two names. One is Dennis Quaid. What is the other?
Before starring in the unsuccessful 1995 film Showgirls, actress Elizabeth Berkley appeared in Saved By The Bell. Name the character she played.
In RoboCop, Murphy’s son is a fan of the in-film TV show TJ Laser. Murphy copies a trick from this show, which he continues to do after becoming Robocop. What is it?
In Basic Instinct, Michael Douglas plays homicide detective Nick Curran, who is investigating a murder in which a man was repeatedly stabbed while handcuffed to his bed. What was the weapon used by the murderer?
Which 1997 sci-fi action film staring Denise Richards involves a war against the bug aliens from the planet Klendathu?
Kevin Bacon starred in the thriller Hollow Man in which a scientist becomes increasingly deranged following testing an invisibility serum on himself. In what year was the film released?
What was unusual about film critic David Manning who gave unusually positive reviews of several films in 2000 and 2001, including Hollow Man among others?
---
Any ideas?

Ive just realised the David manning question gives away the answer to the Hollow Man question a bit.
also, new question:
After the reasonable international success of the dutch film Soldier Of Orange in 1979, which actor had his Hollywood breakthrough alongside Harrison Ford in Blade Runner?

you could also do something with his obsession with Jesus Christ.
he's really into the guy. he wants to make a picture about the Christman.

mention "Bladerunner", mention "Harrison Ford" and ask: name any other actor in that film.
chances are pretty high Rutger Hauer is going to pop up. I don't think you have to be Dutch for that one.
and on the Christian thing - he even saw Robocop as a representation of Christ.

question 8: How many milli-litres of wee will you drip out laughing at his unintentionally hysterical commentary with arnold schwartzenegger for the total recall dvd?
question 9: Paul Verhoeven is a bile guzzling, cock lusting whore with the intellectual savvy of a small gay dog. Discuss.

well, yes. so obvious you'd rather not mention it. Verhoeven, however, can't shut up about Christ.

Haven't seen it, I'd like to though. I know Verhoeven is not exactly an artist but the films are very involving and busy
