I just read from the people who are creating the UMF festival in our town that they have booked Autehcre. |

i did read in a local newspaper some time ago that the organisers maybe were getting more money and was going to expand UMF! wonder where they would play? KÃ¥ren maybe. fantastic news if it is true! |

They are all so setting up a big thing in "Varvintori" and that could be a nice place, as I think KÃ¥ren sucks, the acustics are just shit. |

Yeah, varvintori is quite close to föri. it could be a cool setup. Päiväkoti could be a nice place for autechre, maybe too small. |

The last time anything interesting was happening at Turku was when Orbital were booked for Down By The Laituri. Of course, that never came around since they cancelled for some reason. I sure hope Ã…bo doesn't let me down again. I AM looking forward to this. |

I don't know about Koneisto, there was a recent press release where they announced moving out of Kaapelitehdas. Their website is dead. Anybody got definite info on this? Glad to see Autechre in Turku, at least! |

i remember some of the bands at last years UMF saying "don't go to koneisto, it sucks!" even though they were playing at koneisto! |

i know some of the koneisto organising staff and they aren't involved, at least. but keep an eye open for the flow festival line up this year. i have also gotten confirmation about ae being at umf from a reliable source. |

(my way of handling things - leaving them to the last minute) If anyone has any suggestions concerning that please let me know :) Anything not too expensive. Plus, I will be driving a car so if it's not exactly in the centre it's not a problem. |
