But there are quite a few hotels in Turku, so I guess you
can find a cheap one, simply by calling.

report: a great set, perfect weather, crisp and oomph-y
sound system... I'm more than pleased, yes.

Admittedly you wouldn't expect Autechre to do an outdoors
performance, fully visible (they had to drop the whole "in
total darkness" act for once), in the middle of the
afternoon, but it worked like charm. I would've preferred
more upright energetic mobility from the audience ('dancing'
as it's called), but at any rate the focus was the music,
and properly so.

Also, was pleased to hear how Untilted material had gone a
thorough remixing from 2005 to 2006. Augmatic Disport, or
LCC, never sounded better. (Too bad their set was relatively
short, about 60 minutes - could've used another half an
hour.)

report 2: as Boxbob said, the weather was awesome. The sound
system was really good. The bass was just so nicely soft. As
I went to the gig I didn't know what to expect and was a
little confused about the fact they played at 16:00pm. I've
never been a big autechre fan, except for LP5. But I have to
say it was the best electronic gig I've been to. Autehcre
never sounded that good.

As I was leaving the gig area after the gig Sean of Autechre
walked towards me and I nodded to say Hi, he did too. The
Festival was great overall, lush!

I think more people on this board listen to autechre than
people who see them live. They need to base a plan off of
that and go with it.

Loved the gig! Autechre sounded really good.
Although it was a bit too hot for me, I was dying of thirst,
haha. All the artists were great, I had a great day :)

Wish I had been there - unfortunately I had to work.
