Brilliant musician / composer?

Average ambient nobbler?

Biggest electronic music fraud of our time?

State your reasons.

i don't think i've ever heard his music, but apparently he
is a lecturer, so i'm leaning towards average ambient
nobbler armchair professor.

i love him! stuff he does under hrvatski is cool, but i
prefer stuff under his real name. saw him live about six
months ago and liked it quite a bit as well, although it was
a very harsh set and i prefer more ambient, drone driven
music. shouldn't be on planet mu, he's too good for that :)

He knows what he's doing. On the level of Oren Ambarchi and
Rafael Toral.

I happen to think he's amazing but I can't figure out why. I
recently got antithesis, multiples and schoner flufengel.
Great stuff but if I try to define exactly what I like about
it I go blank.

It's what ya calls yer art, see.

Anyhoo I was wondering if other people thought he was just
hype, if I'm fooling myself, and that.

in that case, i'm glad that i was evidently wrong in my
complete guess.

second half of multiples is great. lisbon is great.

i'm kinda not sure how he'd be the "Biggest electronic music
fraud of our time"... its not like what he does is oh so
radical in any particular direction that he is outdoing the
rest. you probably weren't serious tho.

at any rate he's an interesting guy, far from my favourite,
but certainly very talented and able to pull of a decent
range of stuff. he's also a pretty interesting connoisseur.
really really knows his shit well. a big connoisseur of old
concrete stuff, he's definitely turned me on to a few really
cool old records (posts from time to time on another board i
frequent).

did he make that neat medieval logo himself? wow, there are
some great album covers here. would you describe mr.
whitman as a "man's man"? have you heard bobby colombo's
single? man this stuff is expensive...

Yeah no I wasn't serious at all. I like his stuff. He
patiently explores textures like Pan Sonic does sometimes,
and he has a great sense of melody that evolves slowly over
the course of a track. Well there ya go, I guess I do know
what I like about it after all.

I love KFW.

Playthroughs is a true masterpiece.

He's performing in Boston in June, so I'll be going to
that.
