Well, run for it, as it seems that only 1200 will look like
the one in the pic...

Yeah. Thats going to sell out fast.

I doubt they are going to only have one run of it.

I want to hear it first!

I'd love to have the money to just lay down the cash for one
though.

I'm currently accepting loans in increments of $1475.00 if
anyone is interested.

I will take $1475.00, provided that the interest rate is 0%
and you don't ever ask me to pay you back.

Absolutely fucking lush. What a great tribute to Bob.

Gorgeous style. But no sound samples until next week?!
BASTARDS!

holy shit, that is one gorgeuous looking synth. too bad the
images are of the tribute edition, so even if by some random
strike of luck (read: yeah fucking right) i dont get enough
cash to get one, it wont be the pretty sigg'd version.

oh well, i can only now know what hardware synth is gonna be
the that i plunk down some hard cash for.

subtract the 'dont' from inbetween 'i' and 'get' and that
makes a whole lot more sense.

The utter bastards.

It is slightly worrying though.

bah, worrying how? all theyre doing is milking the hype for
all its worth, this thing isnt gonna be released for another
few months, how else are they supposed to keep interest up?

I don't think we should worry about the next edition looking
less than good. Moog music has always made style one of the
selling points of their synthesizers. I am sure that the
next edition will look very pretty too.

Milking hype, maybe. They were trying to have it ready for
this years musicmesse, which just started yesterday.

Mr. Moog dies and the product names start getting shitty. :(

I wish I could hear more of the old Minimoog. That and
synthi's. Is there a place online to get samples?

Video Here

For those of you that want to hear it. Yup Sounds like a
moog.

As much as I like the way it looks, those led buttons, are a
slight bit too big.

Its supposed to be ironic. There was a little writeup about
various things like why they named it like they did
here.

Personally, I appreciate where things like names come from
more than the names themselves, personally. When I was
younger, I used to think that synths with names, and not
numbers, sounded cheap. Now that I know synthesizers a bit
better, a name can lend a lot of character to the
synthesizer itself, as much as a name can lend character to
an artist.
