it's better for watching porn.

mousegestures + some adblocks and a good pop-up stopper
makes for a jolly good time

what vlarix said about porn plus lots and lots of plugins,
practically you choose how you want your browser to be
built. you choose, NOT microsoft, right..

the Find function is better in firefox - it doesnt get in
the bloody way of what you are trying to read!

good thing.

firefox is more user-friendly, lots less errors. The tab
function is also highly convenient. less java errors as
well. plus, there's less security loopholes than explorer.
it's safer, and the options have a bit more depth than
explorer.

basically, it's much less of a pain in the ass.

I use a mac mainly and the only thing that crashes on it is
internet Explorer. and it'd crash often.
I have Safari as well, but I don't like it for some reason..

plus the mac version of explorer often renders the pages
rediculously badly... like a column of text will be broken
up so that each line is only one word, and the words extend
and overlap everything.

well, what can you expect with a browser that was
discontinued (for mac) in 2003

hmm. I've got an older mac that I am leasing from school,
which I assumed had an updated browser. I downloaded firefox
myself after it kept crashing, and never really looked into
it.
Though sadly, I bet 2003-era browsers are fairly large
demographic.

Yeah, I guess habit has lots to do with that. I used that IE
version for quite some time, but switched over to Safari
when it was in beta, I had to use FireFox for about six
months last year cause the old 400mhz imac and an update of
Safari wouldn't work together. I got a new one and switched
back to Safari - the difference was quite staggering.

If you like FireFox then by all means use it, it's great,
but I only use it as a backup browser myself - until my new
comp gets old and tired :)
