I still haven't seen pictures of what she looked after the
dog mauling.

I don't know if I want to see those pics :(

Full-on though...

It would be interesting because all we've seen are before
the mauling and after. We can't see what the Doctors had to
work from to create what they have. Admittedly, I haven't
checked rotten.com for the pictures.

Maybe I'm having some sort of early mid-life crisis, maybe
I've been single too long or maybe I'm just plain mad but
she looks quite nice when she tries to smile. Once she gains
control of her bottom lip she'll be fairly pretty.

I only just read that she was unconscious due to a drug
overdose. I'd had wondered how her dog could eat off her
face without it waking her up.

The marvels of modern medicine are indeed...a marvel. Its
just a shame they couldn't do anything about her stroke.

Yeah, I posted this story in the drugs are bad thread. After
a drugoverdose she got mauled by a friggin' labradror! of
all dogs! She apparently got her new face from a
suicidevictim. Creepy or what! I wonder what she looked like
before the accident. The maul aftermath... well I've seen
enough rotten.com or ogrish.com to come up with a vivid
image of that 1. They could make a horrorflick out of this
story, she getting visions 'n all from having a dead woman's
face etc. etc.

I also thought it was quite funny (with a side order of
incredulity) that she first noticed her face was chewed off
(bone showing through and all) when she tried to work out
why she couldn't smoke a cigarette.

i've seen pics of her face after the dog had been there.
t´was just a gaping hole where the mouth/chin/cheek part
had been, completely taken off. full face skeletor-style
grin.

there were some in the sunday paper and they sounded awful
from how my parents were describing them..

especially some of another girl, whose whole face was
literally ripped off after her pigtails got caught in a
combine harvester. imagine that. your whole face being
ripped off. horrific.

about the horror of it all.... no lips, no chin, no
nose.......... did u see the interview where she said that
after the attack she went to smoke a ciggie and couldn't
work out why she couldn't hold it in her mouth?

I remember somebody tricked me into opening up a pic called
something like ''motorcycle victim.jpg'' or something, it
was a guy sitting in an ER with everything under his eyes
just GONE, a gaping crater of mush, with an intact tongue
dangling, looked like a foot long. The eyes made it like the
worst image I've ever seen, he was conscious and looked very
aware. Actually it's likely a really well known pic, but I'm
not a gorehound or anything so I avoid that stuff.

it must also feel very weird to the parents and relatives of
the deceased girl/woman whose face was transplanted... i
don't know if they could recognize it, but... seeing part of
the face of a dead person you knew on someone else's face...
creepy indeed. : |

still, this operation is a great thing of course.

(X-tomatic: a horror flick has already been made, with eyes
instead of a face...)
