Cool man! Excellent purchase.

(Sto cercando quella maledetta chiave USB per giocare online
con mario kart, ma non riesco a trovarla.. dicono sempre che
deve arrivare ma non arriva mai! Che nervi)

the nintendo ds is decent, but it needs more 3d games... i
have a feeling metroid hunters is going to be pretty sweet,
although i'd rather have a metroid with less action and more
adventure/exploration like the primes.

Staz: Metroid Haunters must be really good, I played with
all episodes on GC and I loved them. I'm looking forward to
the new Resident Evil: Deadly Silence too.

yeah, that one looks good for sure... oh, and i LOVE 2d
games, it's not that. it's just that the ds squanders its 3d
capabilities quite a lot since 90% of the output is in 2d!

I want one, but only for the awesome 2D Castlevania and any
future awesome 2D Castlevanias. And I don't want to buy it
for that one game/series. Any decently functioning emulators
out there?

offline tridenti from Milano (Italy) on 2006-01-28 12:20 [#01829136]

Yeah I played with Mario & Luigi on GBA and I found this
game awesome, absolutely I MUST buy lost in time as well.

Ophecks: I have never seen people talking about emulators
for DS, I think that there would be problems with them
because of the touch screen thingie.

my favourite game for it is mario kart ds. i imported
ouendan but it loses its excitement after about three days
(mostly since it's impossible to beat the last level).
meteos is the third game i own for it and is a very fun
puzzle game if you're into renting. i used to have
castlevania ds and advance wars ds but traded them. not
because i didn't like them, though (they're my other
favourite games on the system, besides mario kart), but
because at the time i didn't have a job and needed a way of
getting soul calibur 3.

i picked up final fantasy iv advance last night. i've never
played the game before. so far it's disappointing since it
show its age through the battle system/character development
and isn't nostalgic for me at all, but the music is amazing
and i'm hoping that things pick up once i get a fourth
character.

it's a very relaxing "game", but it does get tiring after
the initial charm has worn off.

i need to get around to buying a wi-fi cable myself.

finally found a copy of Animal Crossing: Wild World for DS,
so my social life is probably about to end.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is excellent too, btw.

animal crossing IS released... here in the US, that is. i
HIGHLY recommend it if you like the series. many of the
problems of the first game are addressed:

you can mail multiple letters at once, you can use the
stylus to type, less chatter from peeps like Nook and
Blathers, you can check your fossils AT the museum, the
environments are now smooth scrolling, more fish insects
fossils and paintings, you can make your own constellations,
hats and now there are other pieces of clothing, nook
upgrades FASTER, you can buy AND sell patterns at able
sisters, you can buy coffee now, (dunno why but it's great),
the music is EVEN better, you can visit towns through WI-FI
(OMG!!!!), you can send messages outside of your town now,
you can deposit money at the beginning of the game, nook has
a point system instead of raffle tickets that builds with
every purchase, he remodels SOONER, townspeople will come
talk to YOU, when they move in their stuff is still in boxes
inside their house (!!!) and.... gasp ....gasp....

OH SHIT! WHAT TIME IS IT?!?!?

*run to check DS*

GOD DAMN IT ALLLLLL!!!! I MISSED TOTAKEKE!!!!
AAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!

*passes out*

You have just to buy an usb Wi-Fi key and set it with you
Nintendo DS. Quite easy.

Or if you have a wireless router, simply set it up to
recognise the Nintendo DS.

Easy peasy.

I dunno, post some of your time trials.

I think my best might be on Luigi's Mansion. I did it in
1:56:796 but i'm very sure I can beat that time because I
hit a wall.
