I have a set by him, it's called. Aphex Twin @ Milleluci Club - 13.12.2002 FULL_compatible VCD.mpeg The camera work is fucking shoddy, and a lot of his live set is shit, but there's some real fucking good stuff he plays in certain bits. |

It really onl sucks mainly because the sound quality is so shit, it's taken by a DV cam, and the microphone is being distorted by the loud levels. it's also mono... i think his bird is in it. It looks like her. |

Yeah I heard him being interviewed saying something like that, about how he recreates his songs live. It sounded like crap to me then, seeing as a lot of his stuff is WAY too complex to recreate live. Believe me, I'd love to see him doing his thing live "proper", but I never have, and this vid, nice as it is, doesn't convince me that he's doing it in this instance. Why isn't there an AFX Live DVD? |

what is there to download? i don't see anything. in my experience he always sounds completely different live, nobody like him. amazing doesn't do him justice, he also plays dnb tunes that sounds like he made, where can you get them? also i saw him at the glade at glasto once, playing the most fucked up jungle, with tons of rewinds (all in the most inventive places, until it became hysterical), kept dropping a 'sample' of an evil voice saying "how do u like my new sound/ i see they like my new sound", that was 2003, what happened to this new direction, smojphace was not quite the same, i was hoping the analord album would be reworked versions of the vinyl tracks etc etc etc |
