[12/01 - New Xltronic Weekly Poll: *N.100*]

offline WooferAttack from Milano (Italy) on 2006-01-12 01:04 [#01816754]
Points: 12920 Status: Lurker

Landies and Gentlemen welcome to my poll number 100. I'm
moved 'cos 100 polls are very much and I didn't think to
touch this goal when I started about 3 years ago.

This week the weekly poll will be dedicated to myself and it
could be useful to understand if you appreciate my work yes
or not, what you like and what don't you like about my
polls, etc...
Maybe it's time to retire or maybe the "pool" is waiting for
me, maybe it's simply time to finish my Guinness and start a
new job.

Anyway thanks for your nice support during these years,
thanks for your appreciations and critics, thanks for your
numerous votes.

\/\/.

congratulations. 100 polls is a pile which can be seen from
space.
I'd have voted 3rd - it depends if there wasn't the
congratulation option.

100 are a lot, so you can understand why sometime i repeat
same poll unintentionally (i can't remember all polls I did)

how's about not tieing the polls to a certain amount of
time

when there's lots of news, there should be a good few polls.
when there isn't, there shouldn't be. it's as simple as
that. that's why there are so many shitty and repeated
polls.

can you help me to find all english mistakes inside this
last poll? thanks

offline Dannn_ from United Kingdom on 2006-01-12 07:59 [#01816999]
Points: 7877 Status: Lurker

It depends, some are good, some are stupid, some are boring

that was the only big mistake

anyway I like the polls, quite a lot of them i can't really
vote on, because I haven't heard all the albums in question
for example. Sometimes they are a bit boring but I can't
think of better ones, and sometimes the english is extra
silly but yeah keep it up

"It depends, someone is good, someone is stupid, someone is
boring"

some are good, some are stupid and some are boring

"I find your polls really interestings and funnys"

and funny

that's about I think

Congratulations for your 100 Xltronic Polls Woofer!

Nacmat: It's quite boring to browse all previous polls,
there are a lot. I get bored after 5 minutes.

I think you've done a good job. Alot of times I've think
you've done a good job. I probably have only voted on 3
polls because i cant vote because i have no way of choosing
an option.

I like that your english isnt perfect. It gives it more
character (a good thing) and makes it unique and quirky.

You seem to have fun doing it! :)

And if there was some better way too see if Woofer had
already done a poll in the past, apart that one you
mentioned, he could do his job still better.

Frankly I love your polls, your engrish, and I love the
''frankly I do not give a fuck'' tradition. They get a bit
predictable, but then, we're a bit predictable anyway,
aren't we?

oh that, yeah good point

in the window Woofter uses to make polls, there is a search
button, just for the poll questions. and it works.

Woofter should do what he likes with the polls, I don't
really care, but to say it's too hard to find which polls
have been done before - it just isn't true.

offline tridenti from Milano (Italy) on 2006-01-12 15:26 [#01817507]
Points: 14653 Status: Lurker | Followup to qrter: #01817496

I didn't say it was too hard to find if a poll has been done
before, I actually meant it's just a bit boring in my
opinion, because there are many pages to browse and read.. I
don't know, maybe it's just me.

Anyway, sometimes it's useful to have polls made in the
past, because people, maybe change idea about things. Like
nacmat said, his polls are great, I like them all, that's
about it.

and I'm saying he doesn't have to browse many pages, because
there's a search engine especially for searching the polls -
I'm talking about the page Woofter actually uses to create
the polls, not the one you vote on or read afterwards.

are italians born with absolutely no fucking intuition or
common sense?

is this why they stay at home with their mommies until
they're 40+? so that they don't accidentally kill themselves
turning the tv on?

fucking hell.

Yeah, and what? It made people laugh, which was its purpose.
It'd not have been as funny had I written "Woofer and
Tridenti" instead of "most italians", but it is certainly
the case with these two cretins - the evidence is abundant
in this thread and elsewhere.
