i already received some christmas presents, notably the penguin deluxe edition of candide by voltaire (the best edition of any book i have thanks to the chris ware cover), mario kart ds, and the james joyce biography by richard ellmann (which is gigantic). on christmas i'll be getting the wind-up bird chronicle by haruki murakami. the rest of the presents are surprises. |

OMG RE4 the best game ever Xbox 360 was sort of the centerpiece of my Christmas, but the best present is a batch of shortbread cookies my grandmother made for me and me only. They're amazing, it's hard to believe how good they are. |
