k.

I got the set with one cart and three extra styli for about
what you paid, but that set seems to have gone out of
production.

didn't bother getting two carts as I knew it'd be quite some
time before I could get my second turntable. now, about two
years later, I'm pretty sure I'll get it in january, and I'm
definately getting another scratch, as it's been awesome all
the way!

ooo! if you get one, you'll have to do me a favor:

I'm just wondering what it'll sound like if you vocode your
voice so that it sounds like a robotic voice and then you
use the vocoded robotic voice as a modulator signal for the
original voice recording.. in other words, you vocode the
original modulator signal using the altered signal... it
could sound good, it could sound bad, and it could sound
freaking awesome!

I'd do it in reason if I wasn't at my parents place for
christmas, and I've only got Acid here from when I made the
kitchen music... I do, however, have a fucking webcam, and I
wish I had something that turned the images from it into
music.

I wish I could, but I have NO clues on that particular field
of sound equipment (along with many others, but I'd like to
keep them a secret until I'm asked).

if you're looking for zapp style stuff i think they used one
of these but with that you need a separate synth to
pass through it.. if you want something all in one,
apparently the microkorg is pretty good
