RPM/BPM

Is there a formula for figuring out the bpm of a record
when dropped froom 45 to 33 rpm? for instance, I have a
record that's 140bpm when spun at 45 rpm, and I want to know
how many bpm it will be at 33rpm

It's not so simple. We're talking of BPM, i.e. beats per
minute, or beats in 60 seconds, so its' x/60 - and x is 140
here, so 140/60=7/3. Secondly, you have to take roundness
into consideration, so think circles: 2*pi*45*360, so that's
Rounds, and that per minute is (2*pi*45*360)/60=2*pi*45*60.

Finally, to compare, you have to take the equation
(2*pi*45*60)/(7/3)=(2*pi*33*60)/(x/60), where X marks the
BPM at 33 RPM! Trust me on this one.

What's required here is a relative velocity impedance
analysis fulcrum redundancy invertor. I used to have one but
I gave it to Oxfam.

well, wouldnt it be correct making simply:
140/45 * 33?

45 is to 33 as 140 is to X

33/45 = X/140

so...

45X = 33*140

then divide by 45

yeaah, wait, that's obvious, but it was something else i
forgot... something about pitch. i have a track i want to be
114 bpm, but i want to render it at a higher bpm first and
then slow it down to 114 by pitching it down... to simulate
going from 45 to 33; i don't have a dub cutter i need to do
this in acid or somethingg... trying to figure out by what
percentage that needs to be.

12/45=26.67%(-), though I'm not sure if that's correct.

Do you want the original in abnormally high pitch, and then
pitch it down to normal, or to have it end up sounding
abnormally low?

What is the original BPM? It should be roughly 155.5 BPM to
simulate 45 RPM.

I've found something. It might not help you at all but:
If you play a 33 record at 45, pitching it down (while
affecting the speed) by:
-5 semitones and
-26.1 cents
will get it back to 33.
