I know he's probably more famous now for that Chappelle sketch than his music, but I just love the Rickster! There are loads of brill classics like "Give it to me Baby", "Cold Blooded" as well as the obvious "Superfreak". If you listen to his stuff, he was almost as innovative as Prince, in his own way. |

Excatly. I just really love their music. Completely stripped of any irony, and just funky as hell talkbox party music. Its worth checking out some of their less popular tunes. but i'm glad you already know them! more people should! |
