hey tim. steve @ delectronica puts on a nice electronica
night near liverpool street station (the poet, folgate
street). there's a little pub back room with a PA/decks -
ought to be cheap. i only know of it from playing there, and
i don't know london very well but there's bound to be plenty
of others. might be worth posting on the ninjatune forum as
there are loads of london folk on there that might be able
to help you.

Nope, I've been back in Birmingham for over a year now, just
about to start work at global megacorp Zurich Insurance (not
selling, don't worry ;). Yay! Which probably means less
music, so I'm in the process of uploading a load of tracks
to my site for posterity.

Pecking away at a keyboard all day I suspect, entering
client details into their databases.

The only live gigs I've done mate are for mates parties :)

Although the last time there was a noise protection order
noticed called on the party.

Well, from the mp3s I've heard of your mixes, I reckon you
should be doing more than just playing at mate's parties :)

Exactly that calibre of music :) The Ghostbusters theme,
Like A Virgin. Some of the most hideous music ever to have
been put onto vinyl.

But the strange thing was, it became so inventive and
anti-cool that not only was there some really clever stuff
going on, but it was really good fun too.

post on the ninja forum theres loads of london based
electronic music bods on there - promoters/dj/artists etc

despite it being a hip-hop lounge jazz labels website, most
of the warp crew went there after warpcomm was shut down

Cheers man.

I dont rememeber you mentioning it before. I do have the
memory of a retarded glass of water though so no surprise
there.

I'd like to get a gig or two doing exactly what you've
described. That's how I mix. I hate sticking to one genre as
it seems so damn po-faced. There's a lot of snootiness in
clubs where I used to love though. Not checked the scene
where I've moved to. I should send out some CDs really.
