You might assume that seeing as he is anti-hating the police, he actually likes them. The lack of punctuation in that email address does leave it a grey area. Should it read: "Anti-cop, Pig-hating Punk" or, should you take it to mean, "Anti-(cop,pig hating) punk"? Anyway, an open email to ChaBitty: Hi ChaBitty, A short time ago I looked at joining the high tech crime squad (HTCS): A division of the uk police dealing in computer crime. However, aside from their website being a pile of poo, when I rang up to enquire about enlisting, I was told by two seperate officers that I needed to be a standard police officer for two years first. I have since found out from an ex-HTCS employee that this is not the case. Whilst my experience hasn't led me to hate the police, or even to be "anti-cop", it has damaged my opinion of the force as a whole and made me less inclined to want to work for them in future. So much so, that within a matter of days, I applied to work for an expert witness firm whose main job was to dismantle the chain of evidence, presented in court, by the HTCS. Please can you advise me on whether or not I should forgive the police for this beauracratic blunder, or is it indeed a case for , "pig hateing"? Yours Sincerely, Ceri JC.xxx P.S.
