What artists (as in the visual arts: painting, sculpture,
etc,) do you like?
What are your favourite paintings?
Do you ever go to galleries?

Personally I am a fan of:

Dexter Dalwood

Jeff Koons

Fiona Rae

And some others.

I quite like photographic art, sort-of of the swift_jams
variety.
Being able to manipute a camera to bring out amazing
katharsic shots of things such as diverse as the Sunset on
Ibiza to a drop of dew is quite remarkable.

I like the early Basquiat stuff, before he started churning
out 2nd rate paintings for smack. (Before '84).

yeah... he was never the type to be too self-obsessed with
his art, and it seems that once people started making and
selling Basquiat forgeries, he seemed to stop caring all
together. It's really unfortunate that he died so young.

many but I will indeed look into more when I have the time.

know anything about it.

i'm a pop art man myself. i like warhol, rauschenberg,
oldenberg, and pollack. however, i also enjoy dali. and if
you like comics, i enjoy dave mckean's work. in addition,
while i'm not sure how your feelings on Magic: the Gathering
are, they hire some very nice artists, including Greg
Staples and Kev Walker.

i don't like giger. some of the stuff is nice in a sci-fi
movie sort of way, but as stand alone i think it's pretty
hideous.

i also don't like that guy that did the latest tool cover,
what's his name?

both of them are sleeze balls in my opinion.

I like messages and sometimes the opinions, but i Hate
negative opinions, what's the use of them??..its not an
"opinionboard" is a messageboard..and if you want to reply
to a message: keep it positive even if you've a negative
opinion about the message.

Well, if you ask the question "What artists (as in the
visual arts: painting, sculpture,

people are going to name an artist. Crazy huh?
