I was just wondering if you could tell me about Fibla. (nacmat reccomended you;))
If anyone else would like to pitch in for my quest for knowledge on Hispanic techno artists they are very welcome.

yay!
fibla is soooo great... i love him, hes the best spanish musician imo... with a simple and smart electronic music, but emotional and complex in details. he has no much albums, only 2 i guess... get his last one "lent" (what means slow in catalan).
spark is his own label where he released "lent". dont forget to check also great artist on there like rec_overflow or eedl.
fibla its just beautiful music. no effectism. no electronic trickery. just musical honestity and sensitivity.
when i first heard it, i felt like when i listened to "i care because you do..." for the first time, or "lp5"... dunno, i cant really explain it and maybe youll think its not that good, but i just fell in love with it and i cant avoid being excited while talking about him... :)
it is that kind of albums that grows at every listening.
how did you know about him?
oh, and his live sets are great too, constructing his album tracks in a more abstract way, ala autechre... i dont like him as a dj, tho...

if youre looking for more spanish electronics, check also shudo (slow abstract-minimal electronica of fragmented samples), he has a nice album on that important-belgian-label-which-i-cant-remember-the-name.
and polaroid-strand, two guys on foehn records, a barcelonian label that is releasing interesting music in the line of labels as fat cat or morr (indietronica+nice electronica).

that is brilliant information. Muchas Gracias. So I take it your from Spain, Cataluna. (Yo soy de Colombia)
When you talk about falling in love with the music I know exactly what you mean, I had the same experience when I first heard Triumphant (Royksopp).
I'l definately be investigating the links you sent me ;). I love Beautiful Music, it's such a rare quality to find in music. Sure music can be enjoyable, thrilling, relaxingetc but it rarely is beautiful.

this exactly why you do so badly in Spanish, you only focus on the crude aspects of the language. Say that to anyone in S.America and you'll get you face punched in, as will be the case tomorrow; you're just lucky I may have calmed down by then.

she didn't say that at me you cockriding-fool! She said it in general to the whole class to scare the native speakers and make them not seem as intimidating to the others. Native speakers includes YOU, therefore :
