understand.

dunno but people seem to love it. i just saw a video of him
live and it was terrible. absolutely terrible. i would've
started chucking stuff at him on stage had i been there,
fucking fag poncing around on stage.

totally talentless.

"Next best thing next to AE" I don't think so, his music is
kinda nice but never could compare to AE, ever IMO

"lidell is clearly the best thing on warp...right after

lol, i never caught on to autechre's music but if thats the
best they've got to offer, warp is fucking dead.

what i meant to say was, that autechre and lidell are
clearly the best thing warp's got to offer atm.

crimsonguard, yeah, appart from 3 - 5 artists warp is pretty
much crap..unfortunatelly.

wasn't much of a performance from what i could see. just a
bloody yuppie shit prancing around the stage, making a
mockery of beatboxing and showing off how utterly white he
is when it comes to improvising rhythms.

probably wasn't even improvising either, just mucking up on
stage.

yeah, he's a "great performer". for sure.

they release one record every so often...it seems any good
acts that were on warp have gone to other labels, schematic,
sublight to release their stuff...i hope squarepusher starts
releasing on rephlex or men soon...and boc get the fuck out
of there....

oh yea....
just needs a strap on to make him really super hella ghey

entertainer..although i really like both of his albums.

sat through all of the.. 6 or 7 minute video on the warp
site, my friend sent me a link to it, raving about it.

it's obvious he's a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but i'm not
going to refrain from using inflammatory language when it
comes to discussing his music (this is the internets after
all).

It goes back to my big problem with talentless fucks (white
stripes are another perfect example, gg allin....) becoming
famous. I just don't like it. Especially when there are
incredibly talented souls out there, who go considerably
unnoticed and unrecognised. Really gets to me.

well, i bought muddlin gear when it came out but i never got
into it. i saw lidell live couple of years ago, but the
place was fully packed so i didn't even bother to try and
get closer..
however after i got that warp vids dvd, i fell in love with
'daddy's car' and then gave muddlin gear another chance and
loved most of it. and i like the new album a great deal as
well!

i have the dvd, i'll give daddy's car a watch when i get
home and see if i can give him a second chance. i'm always
up for discovering great music, but i was disgusted with the
quality of what i saw on the warp site....

really lends itself quite well to that tune.

with Mocky is awesome. Show some respect. Save you hate for
Maximo Park.

Yeah, electronic music needs more entertainers, and less
people making shitty, boring Autechre rip-offs.

to be honest the only people ive heard say that they dont
like jamie lidells stuff are electronica purists. So what if
hes done a fuckin soul album on warp. Hes a fuck load more
talented than most people out there and hes a nice guy too
to top it off....end of story
