Was für ein Soundsystem haben Sie gekauft? Was werden Sie
erst hören? Als ich meine neue Boxen gekauft habe, habe ich
sofort ein bißchen Bogdan gehört -- Miroshiru -- die
Bassstimme war ganz toll.....

afraid so :) I was thinking about a
"post-in-a-language-other-than-english" thread last night,
especially after I made a thread a while ago complaining
about people doing what I just did in this thread...
hijacking it by communicating in a language not everyone
will understand.

German's a lovely language though, it just has a bad rep.
When spoken softly it can be quite beautiful, and when
shouted or even spoken sternly it is indescribably
vicious-sounding (Bruno Ganz in Der Untergang is a perfect
example..)

It is my opinion that French does not have this flexibility.
It sounds beautiful, yes, but whenever I hear arguments in
french, they sound almost comical to me :) I couldn't take
someone else, let alone myself, seriously in an argument in
french.

You make pronouncements (itself a frenchy word) in french
rather than arguments: "c'est vrai" etc.

I love all the languages. German is exact, precise,
legalistic; French is to the point yet majestic.

Arf arf :-)

I was just making an oblique reference to the fact that this
thread became more about Germany than my CDs...

Latest update, they're all alphabetized now ;-)

We'll agree to disagree...though I guarantee if a sexy
German bird whispered sweet German nothings in your ear
you'd change your mind :-)

I meant my collection had arrived! I had it shipped over
from England for a ridiculous amount of money...not
forgetting the lovely pine CD racks...which reminds me, I
need more of 'em...!
