couldn't be bothered to look something up before posting
some fucking gormless nonsense, who despite hanging around
unwanted on an electronic music messageboard hasn't heard of
one of the landmark albums in Ambient, Electronica

recognising thier error makes some stupid "mum" joke about a
well respected member of the board. Enjoy your "Best Avatar"

oh shut the fuck up you dupe. Not everyone here listens to
electronic music passionately and chill out/ambience is not
a genre that I'm particularly interested in. I'm only here
because I like the community and would like to learn more
about electronic music. Most people here are really great,
for example deepspace9mm who was able to take the joke well,
you on the other hand seem to be just looking for a fight -
take it out on your punchbag.

b7 me then...oh no wait, you're not a Moderator anymore are
you so you can't. Therefore you cannot tell me what to do
around here and trying to make me feel unwanted by
attempting to coerce me into leaving is frankly
DISGRACEFUL in itself as you don't run this forum,
contrary to what you seem to think, and have to learn to
allow people to simply be rather than pick on a select few
until the weak ones finally have had enough of your
bastardisation and leave. Listening to your crap
makes me more determined to stay just to piss you off you
faggot.

What "joke" am i meant to have taken well? I'd be surprised
if you've ever said anything of wit or value in your entire
life. You're utterly painful, both to read and to
converse with, and an ignorant little turd to boot.
Understand this, my man: many, many people wish you would
fuck off and never return.

Anyway, back on topic, i've got a bootleg on tape somewhere
from the same era called "waiting for the rights of mu" or
something, dunno if anyone else has heard it. Lots of the
same sample sources as "chill out", maybe a bit looser and
more random with the chopping about. Rather nice.

There are a couple of FTP servers simply groaning at the
seams with pretty much everything by the KLF, including
young DS9mm's "Waiting for the Rites of Mu" (two soundtracks
incidently, one for the ambient video "Waiting", and one for
the MTV special "The Rites of Mu", both of which also
available), with deeeeeeeeeetails at this page
http://www.klf.de/home/ftp.php

Vengeance Approved!

Holy SHITCOCKS, that's a lot of KLF. Thanks a LOT dan, i'm
on pay-per-minute access at the moment and can't afford all
this loveliness and i might cry, oh yes.

D:

Btw, have you read any of bill drummond's literaryish
gubbins? I've been meaning to for ages, but don't quite know
where to start.

Excellent!

I 'ave actually read quite a few of his books, the classic
"Bad Wisdom", co-written with Mark Manning (Zodiac Mindwarp
(who's book "Fucked by Rock" filled with tales from on the
road of touring is also a MUST READ)) , the "45" collection
of stories and articles is very good.... I haven't read "How
to be an artist" yet, I want that and the follow up to Bad
Wisdom, Thw Wild Highway, which has been on Amazon for quite
a while now but never seems to get actually made avaialble.
He's always an entertaining and provocative read, I like the
guy.

But recommend wise, maybe "Bad Wisdom" is the genius, they
take it in turns relating the story of how they travelled to
the North Pole (or as near as) to plant an image of Elvis to
spread good vibes across the world. Drummond's account
poports to be factual, whilst Manning's veers into heavy
metal fantasy, but both kind of blur between fact and
fiction, oooh.

I like the guy myself, i went to see his exhibition at the
manchester cornerhouse about a year ago with the 20,000
pieces of that richard long photograph... they had some poor
student girl sat at a table with a craft knife for
hours, just in case. She didn't look too happy.

I think i'll stick bad wisdom near the top of Depressing
List of Things I Cannot Afford, i SHALL get round to reading
it one of these days.
