the wasps came out to play in early spring thinking it was summer and died as the weather worsened. They will probably be back towards the end of July. |

Last year my dad ate a wasp with strawberries and ice cream. I would have warned him as he scooped it up, because I'm not normally the sort who laughs at other's misfortunes, but it was all over so fast. True story. |

I haven't either. The wasp/dad/ice cream inscident was last year. They are waiting... waiting for us... one wrong move and it's stripey yellow curtains for us. |

it's funny you mention it, because I noticed the same thing, especially when everything was in bloom and there was not a wasp/bee in sight taking care of their pollenation duties I have seen one wasp and one bee so far though, but that is all, pretty strange if you ask me |

we usually get 10-20 mudwasp 'hives/mudhomes' on the walls of our house where the wall meets the roof each summer. I walk around the perimeter of my house with 2 cans of the wasp killing stuff that can spray 6 feet. I'm proud of my wasp body count. |

I actually saw the first one today. it flew in through my window really slow and then up and started banging against the window again to get out... it was a huge fucker, but I think it had just come out of winter sleep or something, 'cause it was really slow... |

yeah, I'm getting that to see if it would be worth hunting for a 12" or something.. I don't think I will be buying any beck albums, as he's too.. too much like a radio-show... good stuff at times, but commercials and crappy tunes in between. |
