Love Sheath. Love Frequencies. Never heard advance. What do you think of the album, and maybe the music compared to the rest of LFO's output?
Did you understand the question?

it's got 3 of my favourite LFO tracks ever on it, but it's not solid as a whole, still it's the only album I listen to these days (and occasionally sheath)

How does it make you feel? Sheath made me feel like it's morning and Frequencies just brings this big stupid grin on my face whenever I play it.
Funny how Uk Amazon usually sells machine-wanked music so much cheaper. Of course there are currencies but still. Haven't checked the other Amazons yet.
Uk Amazon:

German Amazon has it even lower, for now.
But more answers would be most appreciated. I'm also between ordering Katamari Damashii or Gitaroo-man soundtrack.

I mean, I can't listen to any LFO samples because my PC's sound card is fucked up. Otherwise what wouldn't have taken a whole new topic to use for asking I, well, would have listened to some LFO samples.

It's very much underrated. Them, Tied Up and Advance are just great tracks. It works well as a single entity, meaning it doesn't just sound like a collection of tracks, intentionally or not.
You know, I never realised that the cover was supposed to be a 5.25" floppy disk, but I think you're right!
Well, there's nothing to complain about if you've got five and a quarter inches when floppy. IF it's true! Maybe Advance is Mark Bell's 'larger than life' album :)
:P

I noticed that I'm starting to feel old when I play this record...
It could say something about me and it could say something about the great work Mark Bell has delivered.
It's starting to sound nostalgic already, then again this was one of the first IDMish records I heard along with Reload - A collection of Short Stories.
"I never realised that the cover was supposed to be a 5.25" floppy disk, but I think you're right" Same here.

Well it's probably the best LFO album, I'm not a massive fan myself, hated Sheath , half liked Frequencies when it first came out but Advance is probably the most accomplished thing they've done as LFO.
The best thing Mark Bell has been involved with though IMO is Depeche Modes Exiter album, fantastic production, he really dragged them into the 21st century.
