Xltronic, hi. My girlfriend and I are looking to get
Broadband - we looked at BT and Wanadoo and they both have
Usage Limits, which I don't think they ever did. It sucks,
so do any UKers know of any better Broadband packages out
there?

Thanks

I'd recommend Pipex myself.

Horsefactory recommended it to me and I will pass on the
knowledge.

You're right about BT and Wanadoo. Both suck.

Some good info on

http://www.adslguide.org

How are you Paul? Long time no see. E-mail your address sir
as i have those files you wanted waiting :)

Depending on your area, if you can get Blueyonder I would
definitely recommend it.

I would definitely recommend Freedom2Surf - they offer a
variety of packages.

I'm on the 2MBit (100Gb limit) and I pay about £25 per
month but if you wanted a lower (but still reasonable) limit
you'd pay less but I've never had any service downtime with
them!

I agree, www.adslguide.org is the best site to search for
good deals!

Unfortunately, we live 40 miles north of Aberdeen in the
North East of Scotland, so not even Tiscali can provide
here. My options are: BT and Wanadoo, and BT is cheaper for
my requirements, so they I will use.

Hi Chris -- email me at gaius_777@yahoo.com so I know your
email address and can reply with my details :) I'm doing
good - exactly one (calendar) month until baby is due - July
23rd - we have a Moses basket and stand, a top-of-the-range
car seat / buggy combo and other baby stuff so everything is
falling into place nicely.

alright paul :) glad to hear that things are going well!

I'm on BT 2MB Broadband, got a free upgrade! it's pretty
reliable - more than BT ever used to be. They've only just
introduced the usage limit - was a bit like 'every silver
lining has a cloud', as they gave us the 2MB line then
slapped on the usage limit.
