iPod troubles

I am suffering huge problems with my iPod when I plug it
into my computer. It rarely updates from iTunes, instead it
crashes or Autoplay thing comes up with a little flashlight
and it doesn't progress past this, or it just ignores it
totally.

Anyone else suffered this and know why?

Nope, never had troubles with it.

Did you re-install all the software on PC/iPod?

I've had similar trouble.

I plug it in and it just clicks at me. Also after this it
started skipping tracks or playing a bit then stopping.
Fucking annoying. I just kept trying to connect it.
Eventually it worked and I formatted it and haven't used
iTunes since. It seems to be OK. Unless it gets hot.

I guess we didn't know you suddenly got all serious..! :P

but you're right, we're ruining this lovely topic about a
broken iPod.

i haven't even read the initial post to be honest, but
judging on 'or it just ignores it totally' part, it sounds
like something serious so i think it's still out of order
yeah.

and im being serious for my whole life already..i think it's
time i change that.

It's working fine at the moment though.

I put in a support thing to apple though. Awaiting the
response.

Thats the new feature they added to remind people of the
ipod shuffle that apple just put out, that randomly browses
your computer and places all your mp3's in various mystery
folders.

See, the fun part is going around and spending weeks trying
to reorganize everything

Aparently it has three settings, '52 pickup', 'hemorage' and
'genocide', and can connect to your computer wirelessly
through blue tooth.

Its also been announce that it has an added function that
rearranges all the names and phone numbers on every nearby
cellphone on the 23rd day of every month.

I fucking hate iTunes. I've still not got my mp3s properly
sorted out since it decided to reorganise. Piece of fucking
shit program.

it may mess everything up, and not interface with your ipod
at all, and rename everything periodically, but at least it
super stable.

I can't fault you on that. It's stable enough sitting on the
CD where it's currently never leaving because I'm not
installing it again.

VIVA LA REVOLUTION!

I've no doubt it works fine on a Mac.

unfortunately, thats not my problem. i was clearing out my
library, so i told it to remove all my songs, and i
specifically remember clicking 'no' when it asked if it
should really delete them. of course, it decided to anyway
and

BAM!

theres an extra 25 gb of free space on my harddrive. im
still trying to recover them, but its not looking so hot.
T__T
