One hears so often on XLT, apart from "You know on
Analord 9 right, track three, about three quarters of the
way through, there's this wicked lushed detuned snare sound.
The rest of series is shit, mind"
, the cry that rings
out loudest is "It's not just like the old days."
Well, instead of moaning, let's bring back the good ol'
days
. Let's set a date, everyone can bump their own
favourite "classic" thread from "yore" and hey, if you know
a member now MIA, why not email them and ask them to pop by
and pontificate on:

The state of music, today.
Why XLT isn't as good as it was before.
Cocktails.
What's the next big thing?
What's the last shit thing?
What broke the IDM camel's back?
Something funny.

Whaddaya say?

Scientology, I watched Battlefield Earth on ITV the other
night, excellent, the best film I've ever seen and no
mistake. This idea is going great! Wow I've just read
they're doing a TV series of playground law.

I would also read Terry Pratchett books in the park and
giggle out loud.

at that time I had also bought a tape with sketches from A
Bit of Fry & Laurie on it and I would walk around listening
to it on my walkman and chuckle like a complete retard.

there's also an episode of "comedy connections" about Fry

a few months ago).

London is, of course, the birthplace of The Clash, and was
once the boyhood home of Prince Charles. Former Wimbledon
champion Ivan Lendl once slept in London, and the city still
rates itself as one of the main contenders to host the 2012
Paris Olympics.

Chelsea football club once had a flower show in London, and
London's inhabitants known throught the world for their
cheeky chirpy charm, will one day be the target for a
biological terrorist attack.

haha, he's awesome. without him there would be no alan
partridge and no the day today. he also produced some of the
later episodes of the mary whitehouse experience. if the tv
shows are still on there, if you haven't seen them, they are
definately worth getting hold off. if they are not there,
you *could* fire up emule and get them off there.

The bit about Jonathan King writing saying they should do a
show about the "funny things that happen in prison"... jesus
fuck!

I am trying to suck the entire resources of UKNova,
including Mary Whitehouse. I did get the "50 best sketches"
which, whislt cut up and unneccessary Bakerage, and "Little
Britain" winning, is a nice trawl through some classic
moments. The Kenny Everett clips made me HOWL like a SLAG.

If only we could harness Jonathan King's energy for good. We
could have Johnathan King farms, a whole town could be
powered off one Jonathan King protesting his innocence. But
would be ever want to use Jonathan King innocence protested
heated water to have a bath?

i converted all the mary whitehouse episodes from wmv to mp3
couple of years back, before the site got removed because
the tosshead decided it was a good idea to sell illegal
copies of the tv shows on dvd. we'l have to arrange a
download session at some point.
