I wanted to learn about it, but I hate reading paragraphs in
all italics, so I stopped.

if you're getting what i think you're getting, then the dvd
is just an excerpt of the third production. and i think it's
very average.

Interesting. This reminds me of that film Titus. Is it the
same director?

by bjork

The musical style is quite allot like Medulla (which I
didn't care for). This looks stunning though.

Oh yes, I have it. Its okay, quite interesting, but it is
just an excerpt from the 3rd part.

You should really try to see some of the films if they come
to some art gallery or something! They are very interesting.
Ive only seen 5 so far. If I remember right Pomme has the
whole cycle bootlegged.

to actually buy the whole cycle it costs millions i believe.

saw a BBC art safari programme on the guy who did it,
bjork's hubby. got some interesting ideas.

I have the entire cycle. Seeing a 30 minute segment from a 9
hour project is a little weird.

i really wish the dvds played on my playstation.

Somehow, somewhere there is. A very large torrent

its split up into several easy to digest pieces. I could be
the guy who seeds the torrent. but then again, i don't want
mathew barney coming to my house and making me eat a crashed
car until i poop out teeth that melt and turn into a magic
rod that's needed for a masonic ritual. *gulp*

are there plans to ever release these on dvd?

hahaahah!

Ok you just seed it for me and then i will hold the seed for
all!!! Then i will crap buicks for us all to drive! But dont
do it now and if you do then i will not even be here at work
any more as i will be driving abouts.

speaking of which......

i like the part in 3 where the chorus line(?) girls all kick
that wall to a beat, but the rest of it is too
wanky-symbolist to me. i guess it's cool but kind of
narcissistic ultimately 'cos it's a one-man show, and i
generally think performance art is kind of a load of crap
anyway: oh look at me i'm doing something, perhaps a dull
activity that i do everyday, or like, i am sleeping in a
tent with a werewolf next to me for several days, but it's
art just because there is an audience? no, "give me a break"
plz.

I saw part 3 at a theater in SF a couple of years ago. It
was 3 hours long (with an intermission in the middle), very
interesting and tested your attention span like damn. No
dialogue; when characters interact they communicated through
gestures. The music was my favorite part. A lot of creepy
droning, a lot of ambience, really suited the film.

Yeah, it's pure art wank to the highest degree. I like that
though.

corrupted girl will l ike it too, we have the same taste in
movies.

cg: seek out the entire cycle!

trailer

i view it more as pop art wank than proper art wank.

but it's all art wank in the end.

let me just cut'n'paste this from amazon.com:

"First off, let me just say that the disc is
misrepresented by most people. Yes, it's a teaser DVD
released in anticipation of the full Cremaster boxed set
(which was supposed to be out 16 September 2003, and is now
pushed back vaguely to "sometime in 2004"). No, it's not a
hundred twenty minutes of Cremaster 3, which ran three hours
in the theaters. It's thirty minutes of Cremaster 3 that
occur towards the end of the film. So at the prices you're
seeing it selling for at amazon, ebay, etc., it's not worth
it unless you already know you love Cremaster."

i liked it. i mean, it was pretty a lot of artsy jibberish.
but i liked it. it was very pelasing to the eyes..

i like some of the music a lot too.
