SUCKS! really, i'm thrilled that there are new
episodes...but none of them so far have made me laugh out
loud. seems like all the work has gone into american
dad...which sucks b/c i'm not impressed with that show, but
it has the quick cut/slapstickish style of humor in the
original family guy which i miss so dearly...

What. The. Fuck.

Do you even have the TV turned on when you're watching it,
or did you lose your eyes in a knife fight?

i forgot to watch it last night... :(

i saw the season premiere, though. i thought it was good,
but it wasn't as funny as the older episodes. i'll still
give the new ones a shot.

I dont care if it doesn't live up to anyones standards, its
back on the air and I'm gonna watch and laugh my ass off. so
there.

I don't think it has lost its stride at all. Last night's
episode was absolutely hilarious. I watched it in a room
full of twelve people and we all were snortin' and
guffawin'.

chuckle a little not really laughing out loud...from the new
episodes. i don't know. got better things todo sunday nights

One show that has sucked for the last 5 years is The
Simpsons. That show fell apart at the seams.

I lawled hard when lois starts talking to him after the
crash and the comic is raised up for the third time.

Yeah, and the fact that stewie and brian framed the
upside-down head kid for cocaine possesion. Didn't seem
funny at first, but I laughed hard about it when I was
talking about it after with friends.

I think they are trying to get a lot of the ideas out that
they weren't allowed to do at first, seeing as their network
support is greater.

It's nice that they have the same animators and voice
actors, but it's too bad the original writers found other
jobs (which they obviously should have, by now.) The show is
too sexually oriented now and waaaay too outrageous. They
layer it on too thick.

Just watched the latest episode and it was fucking class.
That bear at the end tapping the woman with his foot was
inspired.

the original writers left? that certainly would explain
it.

i've been watching family guy (the old episodes) on repeats
a lot recently - i've definitely seen all of them over the
years. the new episode has a different flavor to it. maybe
it's not that my taste has changed, maybe it's that the
humor and feel of the show has.

i always wondered about the unusually large number of
paedophilia jokes/references... there were two in the
premiere. that's the only stuff that's a bit over the top
for me, hard to see the humor in child molestation...(though
i think i laughed when the old geezer tried to get chris to
come down to his basement)

I thought last night's episode was hillarious. i was
laughing pretty hard. The little wonder twins non-sequitor
bit was great "now i play the waiting game..." i spilt my
beer on that one!
