it's super-slow, counter-intuitive, you basically have to guess to use any of the effects, and i get incredibly awful errors that crash the program and delete my data in bizarre ways. |

What are you looking to use it for? For the price, audacity is excellent. It may not be as full-featured as Sound Forge, but for ripping samples from vinyl or any other source it works flawlessly. |

imageline has something comparable to recycle that is designed for work with fruityloops called beatslicer. Its a bit easier to use. As well, the demo version is practically fully functioning, only in only saves files in 8bit mono. Why could recycle not wor for you? |

Did you not install the demo properly? If you are on any p2p, it should be easy for you to come across a cracked copy. |

audacity is actually quite well thoughtout and solid. it does quite a number of things and excels in many tasks that other programs such as peak and other simple wave editors do not. my advice to you lot is to learn how to use programs and what they are for instead of fucking about on here. |
