a compilation from a mb without hearing samples?

i am proud of watmm, they got their shit together if they
got the disc on warpmart. xlt could do the same if we
collectively put down our bangs and put our minds to it.

Yes, this is what happens when you don't take action. At
one stage I even offered to finance an xltronic release but
phobia said no.

Well I guess most people on the compilation will buy a
couple of copies off of it for them and their friends, for
the kudos of buying your own record from Waprmart. Bit of
extra cash for Warp and some for Joyrex, no one really
loses.

Maybe Warp are doing it as a test run for setting up their
own vanity publishing compilation sub-label, maybe.

I reckon Warp will stock anything if you ask them nicely.
They are reasonable people.

Or maybe they're recognizing the work done by a community of
fans to release a self-funded project?

you guys seem to be misunderstanding the phrase "hands
across the ocean".. it's a term of friendship, meant to
indicate a partnership that spans the oceans.

yeah, but phrasing it "It's all hands across the ocean
here eh?"
doesn't sound very heartfelt - it's just a
joke on warpmart's part, but it says nothing about them
dissing watmm.
