a big ole DITTO regarding canadians

i go up to the 'great white north, eh' all ze time and the
people are very welcoming. i have on occasion had some
interesting chats with canadians about their views on
americans as a whole and it's really opened my eyes and
enlighted me. =o)

the world dislikes them and their governemnt.

is it true that due to the cold weather some towns in canada
have like kind of a "subterranean world"... with streets,
shops and all like a normal surface town???

nacmat: haha no.

I could say the same lefty. It doesnt matter people do
things for a reason. I dont mind america at all, im just
saying they didnt get planes driven into their buildings for
nothing, thats all. So take a pill.

What? Its the truth, are we not supposed to look at the
truth? Or do we just look away and forget why things happen.

reflex: noooo??? i was absolutely sure about that... not
even in montreal??

about that canadian page:
its useless
I am from spain so I am kind of neutral, and I dont think
anybody confuses canadians with americans... it is much more
fun to be able of laughing at oneselfs than at the others...
those who feel the need of making fun of the others show
that they have some kind of insecuirty

yes, that might be the case. i just think it's a good joke
that's all, and tasteless.. yeah that too.

nacmat: its not making fun of americans at all, its just the
truth. and no, there are no underground areas in canada,
well there are underground labs and such that they grow
certain plants in.... under a big lake in ontario.

except its a lame joke, and wasnt even funny, pointed out
things that could totally go the same for america. it didnt
really make me laugh or grin.

as is sometimes evident, no one really knows what you're
talking about. you are too vague. i seek the truth just as
anyone else. but you need to present things more
rationally. sorry if i come off sounding rude.

(british on left)
mum vs. mom
colour vs. color
harbour vs. harbor
globalisation vs. globalization

The british method of spelling is pretty stupid. I mean, why
the extra letters that no-one uses?

Relating to the topic, my girlfriend came over from Thunder
Bay in Canada and she ended up deliberately not going back
on the plane home so she kinda lives here now.... Id have
rather went back to Canada than live in a shitty country
like this one.

watermelon man: we use both really. globalization, mom,
color.... just whatever.

Archrival: the French stops midway through Canada, After
that all of the West speaks no french, well people do... but
it would be just as normal to hear someone speak french in
lets say.... New York as it would be here.

Its strange because all products that you could think of
from ads, to coke, to chips, smokes, EVERYTHING, has french
and english on either side....

canadians are wackos.. i've met enough to generalize and
make that opinion. The majority of the world sees america as
they see their TV, it's not a fantasy land and we don't eat
mcdonalds for breakfast lunch and fuckin dinner every day.
