if you could create your own piece of music software, what
would it be?

what would you like to be able to do, that current music
software isn't up to the task?

What about pads that go from the sides of your head, connect
to your comp and let you hear your mind. Too predictable!
I'm going to sit in the garden.

it would have a brainwave input that would generated
thoughts into sounds, melodies and song structures.

You put the pads to your head and stick the bare wires into
the USB, maybe Cool Edit will pick it up. Done!

something similar to what you're referring to is leafcutter
john's minicdfuck app. Takes an audio CD and mashes it into
1-2 second clips etc

CDminifuck V.1c

Um i think I want more hardware, because pointing and
clicking makes me feel gay making music. Plus its too slow,
and 2 hands are better than 1 mouse so suck my balls.

Other than that: better/faster/smaller/more efficient
computers is always helpfull.

I'd like an app that said "Hang on, that's just horrible
Drill / Glitch / Ambient / IDM by numbers, no fucking way am
I exporting that wank to MP3 and wasting people's time
listening to your shit, why don't you try and do something
original, you piece of toilet paper"

I have one that makes songs sound just like venetian snares.
You just have to raise the tempo to 433 bpm.
