i'm sure this topic has been done, but i've never seen it
and can't search for it.

ten albums you would take with you if stranded on a desert
island for the rest of your life. you would also have
electricity and a record / cd player to play them on. you
cannot pick a cdr compilation or mp3-anything - it has to be
an existing album.

and there's no right or wrong answers, of course - it's pure
preference.

---------------------------------------
my list (march '05):

Aphex Twin - Drukqs
Black Flag - Damaged
Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me
Elysian Fields - Dreams That Breathe Your Name
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
Meat Puppets - II
Melvins - Ozma
Shellac - Terraform
Swans - Forever Burned
Wipers - Is This Real?

---------

it's almost impossible to choose the tenth disc. in fact,
the whole list is incredibly difficult to compile. i'd
probably panic and change these all around and just pick ten
copies of the same hank williams single because it's just
too tough a choice. so i didn't take it very seriously, or
i'd never be able to do it at all. i'm sure my mind will
change in the future...

what are your desert island discs? :D

Ohhh, I think I'd pick albums that meant the most to me
rather than them being, you know, CLASSIC ALBUMS or
whatever, I'd need something comforting, something that
reminded me of happy times, y por eso

Aphex Twin - SAW 85-92
David Bowie - Buddha of Suburbia
B12 - Electro(Soma)
Pixes - Surfer Rosa
Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
Suede - Suede
The Smiths - Hatful of Hollow
Loop - Head On
Ultra Vivid Scene - Joy 1967 - 1990
American Music Club - United Kingdom / California

Aggkk, too tricky, I think I'd just shoot myself.

Oh however I did put Pixes, which is ironic seeing as it's
the "x" key that's buggered on this keyboard.
