I'd have to agree about M.bungle, though I've some
misgivings about a little ripping-off they've done. But
whate'er. And Patton's got some pretty mean stuff on his
solo vocal work.

touch the face of the earth. it sounds like everything and
nothing else at the same time.

goodbye sober day - when the guitars come in during

I agree. Oh why won't they reunite!?
Disco Volante is DrukQs of quirky rock, and California is
RDJ Album+Windowlicker. Director's Cut is Untilted.

have you seen any concert footage? a buddy of mine has a dvd
of them when theyd just put out disco, and good god is it
unbelievable. all you see is about a 20 foot x 20 foot maze
of instruments with these 5 guys just manically running
about all of it, each of them maybe stopping for 10, maybe
20 seconds max on one instrument. and by god, its cohesive!

(above is essentially an account of the moment i fell in
love with bungle, watching that dvd)

Was that bizarre festival footage? My friend recommended it
to me, but I couldn't find it and then I forgot. I've seen
some conterts from germany and what surprised me the most
was the faithfullness to the original versions. They had
total control over their instruments and the whole
performance. Amazing musicians.

if you like mr bungle check out Secret Chiefs 3 , it's the
guitarists own band.. very similar to mr bungle, but more
instrumental

Mr.Bungle are cool, i like them, YEAH, but haven't heard
more than three songs and one live video of one song, which
I liked quite a lot

Jarworski, having made only 2 threads is extremely,
amazingly, fantastically, remarkable awesome. respect!

Matvey, just for you, I'm putting their 3 LP's in my shared
folder on slsk (user QRDL). The path is muzyka/rock/mr
bungle, aight? Do it!! Grab Disco Volante and California

I meant this thread is 4 years old but never mind ;)

Someone posted a bunch of tracks before that showed some of
the extrapolation Bungle had done (including the TAKTAKTAK
bit hedphukker), that was quite interesting.

oh.. thanks. i'll try. I think i need not more than one
track right now, called 'the air-conditioned nightmare' (if
i'm not mistaking).
today i've just installed that slsk program, after realizing
it is possible again. But it's easier to ask some friends
here than download for me.
