Homefries n toast Falafel Wrap (2 hours ago) I walked around, came back to my room, shat, drank some beers that were cooling on the balcony and now im tryping here using a dialup connection and now I am fucking' GONE PS. check out kensington market. you can have a nice walk if you go down yonge to queen, west on queen to spadina, up spadina to dundas, left on dundas, right on kensington, walk up kensington st to baldwin, left on baldwin then a quick right to augusta and then walk up augusta... there's an awesome cheap mexican food place up on august on the east side, look for it! it's kind of across the street from "p.s. kensington" (a noticeable cafe).. from there you can continue up to college, right (east) on college.. you'll pass by the main university buildings, you can enter through the gates into hart circle (where the old uoft buildings are), go back out, continue to your hotel on college OR go through philosopher's walk up to bloor and have (at bloor and st. george) greg's ice cream (very good ice cream) or upstairs pho hung, a cheap-as-fuck but yummy vietnamese place.. i used to eat there a lot before i became vegetarian. anyways i hope you enjoy the city! queen west past spadina/bathurst (i.e. past the really touristy stretch) is also really nice, if the weather's alright you can go down to the beeches (far east on queen) or it's always fun to go for greek baklava on the danforth (east side of bloor, nice subway ride across a bridge..) maybe you know the city and all this is useless, or you don't have time.. but.. hope you enjoy your visit. i'm in vancouver at the moment, otherwise i'd offer to show you around. |
