HOW CAN I CARE ABOUT RECORD SALES.
i heard artists get few money from record sales.
labels and recording companies do get the main money cream,
fuck them hard

I'm thinking about records sales. I'm thinking my
downloading won't affect them. Since I buy if I can and if I
can't, I download. Therefore if there were no downloads I
still wound't be buying and therefore no record sales would
be affected. Ta da!

Plus, those artists would just blow it all on sexual
deviations and class-A drugs anyway!

buy more vinyl - cd's are useless

vinyl, YAY!

i think its just stupid to buy an album without listening to
it first, and mp3/p2p file sharing lets you do just that, if
you really can stand an album burned from the mp3's you
downloaded then you dont really appreciate the sound of an
original recording anyway - and not everyone fits into this
category, but most people only seem to care that they have
the album when they download it, they burn it to disk and
forgo purchasing it if they like it, i think this is real
issue here, not whether mp3s are evil.

hey, if you like it and you can deal with some duds, then
buy all means...but for me - especially now i like to know
that the album is pretty good, and that its not just some
flash in the pan.

dunnow why but i often find out that i don't like a
particular album after i bring it home - it sounds good when
i listen to it in the shop, but i don't like it all that
much when i listen to it at home. for stuff that i get over
web, i usually only hear samples or sometimes only read some
reviews, but i usually love all of it later..i don't go to
shops as much as i used to, mainly because our music shops
suck, but im also a bit sjort on money atm. im sure i'd be
broke al the time if i lived in UK..they have the most
amazing music shops!!

i'm almost forced to go to a recordstore since my creditcard
ended up dead..the problem is: most of the times they dont
have what you came for and you end up with some other good
shit (or not), your order hopefully made..

hahaha

this is hilarious. i created this thread just because i
misread the word "prosecution" in the "MP3 prosecution"
title..

i'm not trying to convince anyone to start buying/buy more
music! I'm the worst for that :) I haven't bought an album
(apart from christmas/birthday presents) since i was.. about
13.. and have quite a few albums now :)

[i'm being more cautious about bragging about my mp3
collection now that lawsuits are becoming a terrible
reality, even in this country..]

MP3 4 LIFE! :D

offline Opto on 2005-02-23 08:04 [#01509451]

whole trick starts when you start to think that actually
cost of producing single CD with music on it, plus costs of
making boxes and inlays, is like about 1000000000000000
times smaller than actual prize of the CD in a shop.

thats explains why im downloading stuff from web, isf they
want to fuck me, i will make a move first, and will fuck'em
harder.
